What happened? Description:

I was selling an Unusual Spy Taunt Disco Fever with Hellish Inferno in an Unusual Trading Server when the Scammer(Using the name Dongcopter Pirate) approached me offering to buy it with Paypal. He told me to look at his reputation on bp.tf and steamrep.com and they showed that he had made some paypal key trades and was trustworthy. We friended each other on steam and used the in-game steam overlay friends chat to negotiate a price. I agreed to trade for $65 usd. He said for me to trade him the unusual first because I didn't have as much rep as him. I sent him a trade offer with the taunt to him. He said that he was going to sell it to a friend, and that it would take a little while. He said that the trade was in progress and then he went offline, unfriended me, and blocked communications with me. I followed him using his steam profile to 2 more servers, where he immediately left when he saw I joined. He then made his profile private. I noticed that I am not the only one he scammed today, as there is an investigation on him by a victim named PlsDoNotNerf.

I also managed to track down where my unsual went. I am now friends with that user, know as: storm. I did get a transcript of the chat that he had with the scammer when the scammer sold my unusual to him for a low price. storm currently has my unusual now, but he paid for it fairly and I cannot expect him to give it back for free.​
