What happened? Description:

Ok, so I wrote a comment in a csgo trading group and he added me after that. He looked clean on steamrep with lvl 49, so I accepted him. Then he told me that he wants to show me his inventory on discord and he wanted to overpay because of christmas. That was the moment where my alarm bells ringed!
But I followed with what he said. He showed me a inventory with the same picture. But on the screenshare the top part was cut off. So I guess it was the public inventory of a different person he is impersonating with the profile picture.
He wanted to get an item ID to make sure my item is valuable. So I checked it on csgo.exchange but he told me thats only the current ID. And he needs the Item ID, which I can get over opskins.
Read the chat I guess you understand it then.
I guess he wanted to send me a fake trade offer, because he wanted my tradelink so badly.
and typical scammer attidude.
I hope I am right with that ​
