    Scam Report

Report Type: [Other] Any other fraudulent behavior
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198202654539

    Victim profile: 76561198080719789

    What happened? Description:
Just last week, I was added by this player:
    | steamname: TroLL Pumpkiin™
    | steam3ID: [U:1:216625427]
    | steamID32: STEAM_0:1:108312713
    | steamID64: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198176891155

He claims that he wanted to trade for my Unusual Birdcage. However, due to my trade hold, I wasn't able to take up on his offer until today. He offered up 15 keys for my item, but however proceeds to hook me up with what appears to be a "Steam Employee" in order to verify that our items are supposedly "clean." The group discussion over what went down is shown in my Proof1, Proof2 and Proof3 screenshots. The Link the supposed "Steam Employee" in my Proof2 photo directs me to a trading screen with an Item Database bot, which clearly is used to steal my items.
The conversation with the player stated above is attached as well though, his profile is private and so I cannot validate his legitimacy.
The accused reveals himself to be a Steam Employee as well as a SteamWorks Developer as shown on his profile page which is clearly direct impersonation. The player I have tagged above are also at fault as it was him to put me in contact with this impersonator and so should both be equally accountable. They have attempted the 'Item Verification' scam and should be dealt with and prevent other vulnerable users from falling into their trap.

To clarify further, the impersonator has also threatened me with a Steam ban if I did not comply to his so-called "rules." This is absolutely unacceptable.

Your supposed to report the user you were FIRST in contact with - not the other way around.
It gives us trouble investigating the report.
Too late now - let me look at it

That's understandable. This is my first, I didn't read the terms of conditions the whole way through. Apologies.

I can't confirm anything with the troll user - so nothing will be done to them. As in I can't verify identity to you and that user since that name/user is highly impersonated. Next time get a full screenshot of each users profile WHILE friends not afterwards.
I've tagged/accepted report on accused - this account will likely be community banned soon anyway seeing the info it has on it.
be sure to report them to Valve also anyway.
