    What happened? Description:
    Scam attempt trying to get my Unusual Killer Solo Taunt by using a separate alt to act as a supposed verification middleman that is an impersonator of a valve employee.

    The screenshots speak for themselves.

    At first the scammer greeted me to be willing to trade for my Unusual Taunt.
    I decided to go along with it (I didn't realized they linked me to the real Medusa's Profile instead of their own, but since they added me I could still see theirs anyways.)

    After mentioning verification, I knew they were trying to scam me by using their own alt as a middleman disguised as a valve employee.

    Afterwards, they left afraid of me already knowing that I knew that they were trying to scam me.​

    I used sharex to take these shots and renamed them to go in order of the chat messages (I'm quick when it comes to these types of things as to why these are all taken in the same time period)

    And yes I know the accused is already banned, I'd just like to add on to this person being an untrustworthy scammer that should have their impersonating alt banned at the very least.

    Do keep in mind that this user is already banned/tagged..there isn't any more we can do to this user. Should you come across a user like this again(check users out BEFORE you accept friend request) it is best to just report them to Valve, delete and move on.
    Also NEVER give us Custom URL's..they can change at any time.

    I'm adding this one last note to the accused - after that any reports against them will be archived as again nothing more we can do. The other account is nothing more than a throwaway and will likely be replaced in hours.
    So try to remember this when you come across another tagged user to just delete/ignore them.
    Report them to Valve if you haven't already!

    In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT
