    Scam Report

Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198176059947

    Victim profile: 76561198280104618

    What happened? Description:
I was added by this player, whom I assumed I had bumped into during a game of TF2. He explained that he was interested in trading for my Australium Tomislav and offered 15 MannCo keys. Deciding this sounded like a good trade, I proceeded to negotiate. However, he eventually began talking about how he had been scammed and wanted to bring in a Steam official to help authenticate everything. Getting a bad feeling about this, I decided to stall for time and checked to see if I was dealing with a known scammer. I eventually found a scam report and confronted him about it. I got no response and later discovered he had changed his player name and profile image. Please address this situation, as allowing a scammer to continue as if it were business as usual would be unfair to any potential future victims.

    Provide Evidence:
Here are some screenshots I made of the exchange, as well as "Before and after" pics of the accused's Steam profile.
