    What happened? Description:
    I was contacted by a person named Thux (https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197972790458) that wanted to trade with me. I told him my items weren't available because of sentimental reasons. He then told me I had unverified TF2 items and my account was banned or going to be banned, and he would get me into contact with a Valve employee to help sort things out. I decided to play along to see how much of his time I could waste.

    I was put into contact with Mr. A L P H A I MITHRAIN (https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198289373201) and had a lengthy conversation about him wanting me to send items to a third account, Item Validator Program™ (https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198018831786) that would verify my items.

    Please be aware that Thux hasn't changed anything on his profile, but the second and third accounts have since been changed to have different names and descriptions.

    @Negark You don't report this user - you report the user you were FIRST in contact with! Doing this is doing it backwards...it makes researching the whole event difficult.

    As you can see this user that first contacted you is also already banned/tagged here - no idea why you were dealing with them to start with- those tags are a warning. You should have checked the user out before accepting friend request then upon seeing this just deleted them and moved on.
    Please keep that in mind in the future!

    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT
