What happened? Description:

The guy said he would give me items if I played a few games with him. He doesnt have items that he is promising to give and asking me to 'verify' items with another person who is very suspicious.​

Provide Evidence:

This guy came to me to ask if I can play with him.
He said he is going to give me an australium rocket launcher if I played a few games with him. I checked his backpack on backpack.tf but he didnt have any australium. so I assumed that he is a scammer.

I checked to see if he can actually speak korean but I guess it doesnt work that well thanks to the power of google translator. more explanation on this later.

The classic 'add someone else to verify item' scam.

A level 0 account. (the account got deleted or something while I was writing the report)
Given by the lack of items in his backpack, long playtime (about 1700 hours on tf2) and inability to speak korean despite his profile being set to korean with a lot of koreans, it is very likely that this account is a hijacked/bought account.
(님 in korean means polite 'hey' and '님sir' makes no sense in korean. If he actually spoke korean, he would have said 'yes?' or something along the line.)

First report I'm writing on steamrep. Hope I gave adequate information.​
