What happened? Description:

This guy added me one day and just out of the blue messaged me saying he had something important to tell me. i message back asking what is it. at this time he was currently friends with someone on my friends list who was important to me so i thought it had something to do with him. he tells me that he accidentally reported my account for duplicated tf2 items. I assumed he was new to steam so i told him that everything was fine steam would not ban me over one mistaken report. he tells me to go talk to a "steam admin" then links me to a profile of Lɪғᴀ (64id 76561198302778045 ) claiming i need to prove my innocence with him. so i did as he told me to make him feel better. then i figure out that this was some scam to get my tf2 inventory and tell him that his friend was no admin and that he would get banned for impersonating a steam Employee.​

oh ok sorry when i did the report he de-friended me and blocked me imminently after i figured out he was a scammer and i did not know about this site and how reports worked. i just found it while searching for more effective ways to ban scammers like him or warn people about him next time i see something like this ill be sure to screenshot his profile while friended this was my first time doing reports on this site
