What happened? Description:

A different, certainly affiliated account (likely just the same person on an alt) messaged me saying he "accidentally reported me for duped items" and to please add a different account that was allegedly a steam admin to say it was an accident. I knew this was the "pending ban, duped item check" scam but played along to gather evidence.

Upon adding the referred account (the one cited in the accused info block), I was told that I have a pending ban, I need to send my items so they can see if they're duped, etc (the usual nonsense). I toyed with them for a bit afterwards. Obviously did not send my items.

The photoshopped screenshot with a "pending ban" image on my profile was a nice touch.​

and for it's worth even if I say to that admin what you told me that's hear-say and not admissable evidence
you telling me it was an accident has no more weight than you just telling the admin

ok, the proof that the items are not duped is this: you can check the item history and see where I got them, and see my trade history and see that I have not traded away any items matching the ones in question in my inventory

you have access to the database that holds all items regardless of under whose possession they are -- you can inspect whatever item you want

the data on the item will not become magically decipherable just by changing inventory
that's not how computers work
