What happened? Description:

TLDR at bottom, thanks.

I tried selling some keys by starting a thread on bp . tf forum, and then also invited some key buyers who opened buy threads on the same forum via steam.

So, some people added me including the accused. His name was pretty obvious to get my priority and we were online at the same time.

I checked his backpack tf trust reputation https://backpack.tf/trust/76561197961452664
and steamrep status. We chatted about who should go first, and he was firm about me going first. I was at first so uneasy when I saw he had problems with gambling (as stated on his backpack tf trust page). But, his ok trading reputation, and clear steamrep status made me think that I should not judge his trading by his gambling problem. The size of the trade I was going to do with him was only around 3% of the worth of his tf2 inventory valued by bp tf (around usd 5,400). Deal was 100 tf2 keys for usd 1.63 each, a total of around usd 163.

Sent him the goods, and he sent me a screenshot of successful transfer https://gyazo.com/9a9c0c8a1f4ad7031a224f719a2a30f9 . Around 10 minutes or so I still have not received the fund on my paypal. I told him I'd check the next day (which is today), also asked for his paypal email so I can inquire paypal.

This morning (8 hours after last transaction inquiry) i checked my paypal, none. I message the accused telling him I was going to report after some time. Well, he only said he was pretty sure the payment was sent.

I don't understand why he is so confident but if he did transfer, he could easily give me his paypal email and perhaps a better screenshot from paypal page ?

He perhaps does this a lot. Hoping nobody checks if the money is really sent. If victims really do check, then he might excuse himself and really transfer the money.

My accusation is he did, scammed me. The time I gave him to reply me with decent answers is more than generous.​

The paypal screenshot I provided was the whole activity ... dropdown button showing "All" ever transactions. That paypal account is rarely used. Or did I took the wrong page to screen shot ?
