    Scam Report

Report Type: [Money] Other cash fraud (webmoney, bitcoin, etc)
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198389148136

    Victim profile: 76561197997663397

    What happened? Description:
Got scammed out of my ST M9 Bayonet, I met the guy in a competitive match he seemed to be very trustworthy had a lot of rep from users with high value inventories over the past couple years - we agreed a price for bank transfer. Once traded to the user he immediately blocked me and made his profile private.

It should have been a red flag with him not wanting to go through a third party but I thought him to be safe at first.

    Provide Evidence:
Evidence provided in attatched screenshots, I removed my bank details for obvious reasons.
Unfortunately cannot get screenshot of the item in accused's inventory as they unfriended me, blocked me then went private as soon as the trade was accepted.

    [22:01]
    Pas-Thor cs.money:
    Hello
So what is the price to your M9?

    [22:02]
    Gimli:

    £285

    [22:03]
    Pas-Thor cs.money:
    With paypal?
    So?

    [22:07]
    Gimli:
I'd rather go third party, you be willing to go through bitskins?
would have to wait the 7 day though

    [22:07]
    Pas-Thor cs.money:
i wanted to do direct trade cuz theres dont have to wait

    [22:08]
    Gimli:
That's true but no safety for me using paypal
    can be charged back easily

    [22:08]
    Pas-Thor cs.money:
i can do bank transfer as well
    if you like that

    [22:10]
    Gimli:
would be willing to go bank transfer

    [22:10]
    Pas-Thor cs.money:

    [22:11]
    Gimli:

    [22:12]
    Pas-Thor cs.money:

    yes

    [22:13]
    Gimli:
Ok, and are you happy to send first?

    [22:14]
    Pas-Thor cs.money:
I dont want to send first :/á

    [22:14]
    Gimli:
I understand that, and your account seems trustworthy but I'm just trying to protect myself in this trade
    why I suggested bitskins

    [22:19]

Only information I removed were my banking details - I don't particularly want these visible on a public platform.
Is there any way I could pm you these screenshots instead?

We do not review edited screenshots - so you can either provide it unedited or you can request the report be closed because you refuse to provide what we require.
    Your choice here.
Everything of the report must remain public so others can review it and decide for themselves if they wish to trade with the user IF they are found to be guilty of what you accuse them of.

I hardly think that it's reasonable to say what I requested is refusing to provide evidence, it's quite the opposite.

I will however upload screenshots so somebody else doesn't lose out as a result of this, though I can't say I'm thrilled with you requiring this information be public.

It is entirely YOUR choice to provide the evidence we require - in no way am I or anyone else here pulling your arm to do so.
Now.... what you provided was perfect and infact added the history to the account that I was going to ask for next so thanks for that.
Now I need one final thing.
A full screenshot of your trade inventory history but this time thru steam client not what you gave me thru the browser.
