NO - that is false and completely made up to trick/scam you.
Submit a report if you still have all the full screens of the chat logs.
Be sure you are reporting the FIRST user that contacted you if there is more than one.
AND make sure you report the user to Valve if you haven't already.

Make sure they are all uploaded to the report also not prntscr or any other 3rd party hosting site.

AND lastly...make sure you check to see if the user is already banned/tagged here to start with - if they are there isn't much more we can do to them here so certainly just make sure you report them to Valve.
Always check a user out before accepting an add by the just to know for sure who you are dealing with...only takes a few seconds.
