  1. A friend of mine and I were followed through many servers for several hours by a couple "GHS" members as they assumed we had scammed an item from somebody [I believe a liquor locker]. The story is that one of us impersonated admins (although nowhere in our names' histories did we impersonate a single person, we simply used tags), and one of us would act as a middleman. The liquor locker's history CLEARLY shows that our "middleman" being me, never held onto the liquor locker in the first place. Along with this, the only reason we used those names was to screw around with our friends in those servers by pretending that we would ban them as admins [they knew who we actually were].

I believe this may have been targetted, or a misunderstanding. While they followed us through servers for hours preventing us from trading by spamming "scammer", we feel harassed. Harassment is not only against SteamRep rules, it is also against all liberal laws.

We formally request revision of such decisions, as escalation would be tiring.

So you impersonated admins (alledgedly as joke)? And you have the nerve to claim you are being harassed? Are you surprised? You say there is no history of those names on your profile, yet you admit to using them regardless. Impersonation has been strictly against SR policy, and has been for a long time...
  3. I didn't impersonate any individual person. I used tags, which are (according to Valve's Terms and Conditions) 100% unofficial and cannot be taken seriously. I didn't use anyone's name, and the proof that scamming took place is completely non-existent. Suggestions that it "might have" shouldn't be good enough for a serious website and corporation such as SR. You can literally keep a watchdog on my friend and I 24/7, and realize that every action we commit is within the eyes of SR and Steam rules, along with all VAC TnC.

Remember, if you consider using "clan tags" as impersonation, then every single person within the clan is technically breaking your rules due to how unofficial they are. This, unfortunately, puts everyone in the "bad-guy" position.

I ask for an appeal, and "another chance", and I'm doing it politely. I don't seek an argument.
