No strict location Languages spoken: I as the community leader have fluent english, german and turkish language skills (Native german with turkish parents who was raised with both languages). I feel comfortable to handle reports in german & turkish. Scam evidence will be provided by users and used to educate others (serving as an example) to prevent this scam from happening to others. Common scams will directly be adressed & explained via linked guides from Steam Rep and /r/GlobalOffensiveTrade/ Soon there will also be whitelists for trusted cashout sites, trading sites, developers, designers & more. API usage: No I don't. Why does your community wish to exchange banners and become a Friend of SteamRep? Of course it would be a personal achievement for me to be affiliated with you which would make me very proud and motivate me to keep this up. Also it would help others to take my group serious and just make the general work easier when my steam group has a direct connection to SteamRep. Tell us more about your community: While the main goal of other Anti-Scam Steam groups often indirectly was to "witchhunt" a scammer when enough proofs were provided which caused nothing besides a bunch of low-quality reports and a few inapproriate profile comments, my Steam group was created for educational purposes. With that being said: My goal is to prevent as many users as possible from getting scammed. So far, this was done by creating a small collection of common scams which all refer to guides which were made by SteamRep or the /r/GlobalOffensiveTrade/ subreddit. My group was just promoted by normal giveaways & external promotions from websites such as idle-empire.com so far but within the comming week, I will actively start to promote the group as a real educational option to protect yourself from getting scammed. I will use a Steam group range of more than 1 million members (groups where Im a moderator/admin and can post announcements) + my other website vloot.io & the help of several more or less known Youtubers & Twitch streamers I also have a Twitch stream with regular viewers and a Discord server with 1.3k members who trust me as an individual person. With all the listed examples, Im pretty sure that it shouldn't be an issue for me to grow this ScammerProtect Steam group and do my best to protect as many users as possible from getting scammed. By now, I already talked with Shubbler from the /r/GlobalOffensiveTrade/ subreddit who was very interested in helping me and many CS:GO oriented steam group owners, website owners, esports related persons (such as team managers) & Youtubers. I'd love to get in touch with you and have the pleasure to serve you as a supportive partner who will eventually prevent thousands of scam attempts in future and make also people aware of the use of Steam Rep who have never heard of you before.
