Well I met this person and he was an imposter of this gentleman: http://steamcommunity.com/id/senorfullsteel. He had the same profile description and I think he had some form of rep on it. He also sent me a link http://forums.sourceop.com/threads/25495-Fullsteel-GabenRingo-s-Rep-Thread and I was convinced. I do believe it is my fault for not checking his Source rep, but he had me convinced that everything was legit. I then preceded with the deal, I would go first due to his fake but convincing enough rep. I feel ashamed for my stupidity and I hope there is someway to maybe get my hat back. I know he has already been reported for scamming. I would even be satisfied if hes account would at least be shut down. Thank for your time and I can only hope there is something you can do.
