Shitposting on the forums

Recently, I have noticed a large upturn in the amount of shitposting going on in the general discussion section.

Participating in trolling behavior is unacceptable - from Community Admins and non-admins alike.

There are much better ways of getting your point across. Trolling does nothing but incite users into flame wars. The resulting devolution of a thread winds up being a shouting match over nonsensical points.

If I see any more of this shitposting, I will have no reservations of banning the offending users for a period of time.

Maybe you should clarify further what constitutes s✿✿✿ posting as it seems to be something that is still continuing on the forums. Also should set a rule about improper insults and comments towards others that are considered harassing (cross thread posting just to harass and degrade someones comments, etc).

The issue where this topic was called for, was dealt with. This topic has been unstickied and unlabled, for it some communications have been done, and where need be it will be addressed by a admin.

on "shitposting", as SteamRep calls emotions for various reasons in a lot of ppl, we do allow some crap, for its part of it. We do have limits, but those are more in shades of gray then a black and white ruleset. Therefore a admin will do as they see fit to end situations in this area.
