I have some possible suspects. I notified Steam Support of all the info I had, and I'm posting the same info here. Let me know if I can do anything else to help.
Possible information regarding the hijacking of The DIrector's account

Recently, I stumbled across a few rare off-level genuine hats in a trade. Too rare. One of a kind, actually. The person was also selling a lot of other items for cheaper than usual prices. These items just happen to be ones that were stolen from the Director's account. http://steamcommunity.com/id/terabyteuk/[/COLOR]

I'm figuring the items either have to be duped, or stolen. If they were duped, than the person duping them would know they were valuable and wouldn't sell them to me (unless they were just trying to get rid of them quickly). The thing is, once I advertised that I had these valuable items, the guy had his friend try to buy them back from me. So they must not have been duped.

I did a little more digging. Before the date of the hijacking, their accounts were both fairly empty. Around the time of the hijacking (sometime between June 10th and 20th) their accounts went private. This is when I assume the items were all sold (Edward.Norton was selling on tf2tp.com lots of good items for cheap). Then their backpacks came back full of metal and keys and a few of the items still in their backpacks. http://www.tf2items.com/id/jordanedward?time=1340487265 (Notice the one-of-a-kind off leveled brain bucket suddenly in his bp.)

Here I'm posting the chatlog with Edward.Norton's friend Igor.Hopkins where he tries to buy back the items from me (I lied and said I sold them) and then admits that they are one of a kind.

This is a pretty high profile case, I figured everyone would be interested in this. I guess I was wrong. Thanks for at least acknowledging that I posted.

It is worked on in the background, as such not all is posted here. We established contact with the owner of the account, and are working with him. Its just that I dont have much time atm.
