    I didn't think it was a good rule, it's like 1-2 minutes isn't it? Needs to be a few hours atleast.

    The reason this was instilled, was we had to prevent people from changing their story. Some people posting evidence or appealing had gone back and changed the info in their OP without posting to let people know they had done so. Lots of investigating was done based on the original info, and then found it was a lot of time wasted because they had edited their post. We left at least 2 minutes so you could catch a spelling error or something of the like. If you'd like to edit your post, simply post another line and ask the moderator to do so. We have no problem editing it for you if you ask us to, but it helps us to know when someone changes their story or when we need to shift the investigation because the wrong evidence was posted.

    You Could, allow editing in the main sections for longer
    and keep the restrictions on "Appeals" and "Reports" :)
