Think i found new way to view latest chat messages

    remember the new steam thing that when someone messages you it says "1 unread notification"

    well there is a way to sometimes recover lost chats if you had just closed them
    1. message a bot or something
    2. you close all the chats
    3. make sure in the notifications it says "one unread message"
    4. press that
    5. prepare to get spammed with a hell of lot of closed message tabs

    well enjoy and let me know if this works

    Sounds like just regular behaviour, you'll get some of the history if you just reopen the chat window normally. I don't believe the notification makes any difference.

    what i mean is that if you closed a chat with a scammer and if he blocked you and unfriended you you can use the way to retrieve the chat logs
