For the item you linked (http://www.tf2items.com/item/668369548) Why do you think tf2items history indicates the bud is duped somehow? It does not have a "new" originalid like a Valve "restored" one might to clear its history (which they don't do anymore). It just might not have been in an indexed backpack-- tf2items doesn't see everything.

Do you have other evidence the earbud was duped?

Did you read the questions I asked you, specifically about 668369548? Please take time to do so and then respond. I'm not asking for fun, I'm asking so you can show whether you understand what tf2items is telling you.

The 800783551 bud is duped, but confusingly so. There's no indication that the other user would have known that.

Given your other responses, you are likely confused about the idea of duplication and what tf2items is telling you. I recommend you worry less about duplicated items because you're likely missing out on legit trades due to your misreading of tf2items.

There's no guarantee they are non-duped, but TF2items is not providing you any evidence for those last 3 as being duplicated. If you specify exactly what clue you're using to indicate they are duplicated, some admins here can clarify for you.

Remember: TF2items misses a lot of stuff and is more like reading tea leaves than something you can accurately use to assess dupes perfectly.

TF2Items only record history if someone views the owner's backpack via TF2Items. Additionally, they lost a lot of history when their database was damaged ~3 months ago. It also doesn't record history before June 4, 2011.

That Earbuds has an original ID of 92045803 (8 digit) and a traded flag, which means it is issued in 2010 and is not restored nor awarded last week.

Every backpack viewer may record a different set of history.

    Do you see the difference?

Please understand that no backpack viewer has direct access to Valve's item history log.
