I don't really know if this qualifies as a scam or not, but I thought it was worth mentioning and discussing with Steamrep as a newish sort of deceptive behavior. I played with this user a day ago, and he was carrying teams on expert mode Mann Up - after more time than I am happy admitting, I realized that he was using wallhacks and possibly something else to boost damage / etc.

Unfortunately, beyond waiting for Valve to VAC ban him, I can't think of any way to prove that he was using hacks, but he has farmed a large number of rare-ish botkillers, due to the difficulty of completing expert missions. You can see that his account was only created on Dec 26 and he already has a large number of Carbonado botkillers. I know for a fact that he has had some diamond drop as well, but those appear to have been sold off already.

If this even counts as scamming by you guys' definitions, this might be something where a steamrep admin could friend him and join a game to prove that he was clearly hacking. I don't really know how else to prove it, beyond seeing it happen in real time.

Cheats/hacks of this nature do not fall within the bailiwick of SR.

Valve VAC bans are somewhat feeble at best, and are never able to catch the most up-to-date cheat methods. Your best recourse is to identify the Server/Network owner(s) and bring such activities to their attention.

On the Network I Admin on (Gamers United) we run hundreds of TF2 servers (including MvM) and I can assure you automated VAC bans are never able to catch everything, however any network with good Admins will be easily able to deal with suspect/problem players, and if they don't, go play on a better Network :)

    * It would be wise to record a DEMO in console (run status as well), and forward that to Server Admins (not easy in MvM of course, given you will get yelled at for being in SPEC).

Hello, this kind of issue is out of SR bounds since it's not a Scam, still thanks for the report!
