I am seeking to appeal for this 'scammer' in his request as I had given him penance. I have personally resolved this issue with said party and retrieved back my copy of Civ 5 from him one day after the initial scam report was accepted.

Needless to say, this entire incident has caused me huge inconvenience and whether or not he deserve the appeal will be left to the representatives from SteamReps to decide.

I hereby acknowledge that all information I have provided is only but the truth. Whether the 'scammer' deserve this appeal will be left to the representatives from SteamReps to decide.

    - Evidence for this information can be found at the link above. I am basically listing everything is point form for easy reading.
    1) I traded him my copy of Civ 5 first
    2) He gave me the first DoW 2 game key which did not work.
    3) He gave me a second DoW 2 game key which did not work either.
    4) He told me he will check with GMG support and ask for 'something better' or a refund for me.
    5) I am infuriated. From my personal perspective, ANYONE would have taken believe that he is a scammer by taking this course of action which provided absolutely no reassurance. (Who is he to contact GMG support and make those empty promises and baseless claims about getting a refund for me?)
    6) I demanded that he return me my copy of Civ V which he refused. (I invited him to trade and he declined)
    7) I took FOUR HOURS to dig through forums and read through guides on how to report a scammer.
    8) I finally went to bed by the time I am done with anything when it was already almost 4am in the morning.

    - Evidence for this information can be found at the link above. I am basically listing everything is point form for easy reading.
    1) As you can see, the conversation which we had in the afternoon, he freely admitted that he was a scammer and then blocked me and set his profile to private.

    March 1 2013 (late afternoon - night)
    - I do not have the evidence from this time of the day as I had already given up on this case.
    1) He unblocked me and added me back on his friend list
    2) He opened chat and then proceeded to tell me "He didn't want this to happen"
    3) He initiated trade and gave me back Civ 5.

    4) Then we proceeded to exchange reps on steamtrades. I gave him a fair review and my thoughts included. So did he. It is too bad there isn't a "neutral" review. Only positive or negative.

    1) I received a message from him
    2) He asked me if I can do anything about his "steamreps"

Information: Providing invalid CD-Keys and not fulfilling bargain

The fact remains unchanged that I received invalid CD-keys from him. It created a great deal of inconvenience in my case. Initially he had even declined to return me my game.

Whatever the reason behind which triggered him to take on a different course of action and returned me my game. I might never truly understand. Perhaps to restore his reputation?

    Long story short,
    1) Provided invalid CD-Keys
    2) Refused to return me my game
    3) Created a lot of inconvenience
    4) Returned my game.

Whether he deserve the appeal or a more accurate description to his steamreps, I leave that to the representatives at SteamReps to make this judgement.
