he goes on to tell me to change my steam contact to his scam email, all the while avoiding questions and reason. still has me added and tries to ignore me, i'll link him here.

P.S: we were trying to scare him into apologizing or acknowledging his attempt, but he's done no such thing

Yes, this guy is a scammer for sure. Earlier he had hijacked two accounts

Once hijacked, he used the second account to say to me "I just got $300 free" and then told me to add "Mr. Payment"

He has stolen all items from their backpacks and I hope something can be done for both of my friends.

This guy needs to be stopped, he is now using these hijacked accounts to scam other people. I hope steamrep will do something soon.

I've been helping the person who got hijacked ( {9 Lives} MaSo MaSTaR is his old account before it was hijacked) and this Mr. Payment guy is apparently a hacker. He had automatically changed his email for that account. My friend had atleast £200 worth of items on his Steam account.

If you've been linked here from me I would like you to look through the pictures, as you can see the emails are the same as what you were attempted scammed with. Therefore proving my point that {9 Lives} MaSo MaStaR is a hijacked account.

have been returned to their rightful, original owners. but this guy is still loose.

I like how I come on here to see if it went through and it hasn't even been approached by a steamrep staff member a month and a half later.... who knows how many people this guy has scammed by now

Yeah, i've come across the problem of "should I bother reporting?" Say I get added by a scammer/phisher, luring me into something clearly against steamrep rules and something they'd investigate. However, in the time it'd likely be accepted, my own report would fall short of any significance. As evidenced by this case, where he is still fine and likely scamming/phishing and stealing accounts and card info.
Apologies to any staff members, I understand the circumstances and reasoning behind the backlogs, but I see little reason to report future cases.

Is this seriously still pending? I have multiple screenshots and pages worth of evidence of new scammers from the year that this has taken to still be unaccepted, it doesn't seem I should bother reporting them. This isn't a vile stab at steamrep staff, I know you are understaffed and overworked, but I am disappointed.
