Description: The chat says it all. Random add, offers $70 on a hat worth $35-40 in steam card codes (red flag!). I check his steamrep and he is on trade probation. I search the forums and see that he has pulled off this kind of stunt before. (See http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/http-steamcommunity-com-profiles-76561198020392437.41659/). I decide to extract some more info from him. He then goes on to say that he is a TF2OP moderator, then takes back his claim. He says he 10 pages of sourceop rep, when I inquire about that, he says he has none.

Since he's on trade probation, if you report this to Valve, he can be trade banned permanently. I was the first reported victim of one of his scams, so I'm trying my hardest to make sure these two (he works with an alt/accomplice) never scam again. It might be a good idea to link them to this thread so they can see all the evidence in one place, as well as provide a brief description of what happened in the ticket itself.
