What happened? Description:

"xXx DJFROST xXx swagyolo" pretended to be a middleman, when in fact he was friends with the scammer (steamID64 76561198033327404).

They talked me into giving the TF2 hat to the middleman (DJDROST) to receive the agreed payment of USD 340.- via paypal afterwards.

After receiving the TF2 item (the ~300 USD hat), both immediately left the chat and blocked / ignored me. Payment was never done / received.​

Addition: I found that it might be confusing reading the chat with "xXx DJFROST xXx swagyolo" and seeing the trade happening with a guy named "DR4G0NP00P3R". This is because DJFROST changed names while in trade.

Attached a screenshot proving it's the same guy.

Finally: I realised my initial inventory history (image scam02.jpg) didn't show any transaction (I guess the item servers were struggling at the moment I took the screenshot).

So I retook the screenshot. "DJFROST" alias "DR4G0NP00P3R" seem to be well aware of the report filed against him, as he keeps changing his name - trying to get rid of the name history in steam.
However I was able to capture all the evidence needed - connecting his initial chat-name with the trade up to his steam profile.
