I was on a trade server with an admin, and I decided to mess around. I didn't particularly have a real problem with him. It was just a bit of late night fun. It was a harpoon trade server, and I pretended to be an admin, rather "Teh Serve Ownr" selling "admin" powers.

Every single player on the server knew it was a joke, did not become upset, or have any issue. They teased, and joked around. It was a prank.

I did not trade ANYONE from that server. I was clear to make my presence as joking apparent, so no one would actually trade me for admin. I made myself clear at the end that it was a joke, no I was not admin, and no I would not, and could not sell it. I was also clear to state I had no affiliation with that server, or any trade server.

No one traded for admin, or offered me any sort of item for admin. My name was spelled incorrectly on purpose.

And if this needs a new thread too, but my "alternate account" is not an alternate account. I have a room mate we share an IP address. He'll be returning from holiday shortly.

As this pertains to my server, I'll weigh in here.

You claimed you were an admin and not once did you say you were joking. Multiple people reported you and gave screenshots of your comments.

When asked by a player who inquired whether you could actually sell admin, you stated that the owner (me) was your cousin, you were a member of the staff and that you could indeed provide admin for a price.

Firstly, you aren't my cousin. Secondly, you aren't a staff member. And lastly, if this was a joke, you shouldn't have let it escalate to the point where you were impersonating an admin, in a trade,and about to accept keys for something you were in no position to provide.

I must admit to being slightly intoxicated, however I thought it was relatively obvious that I was joking. Secondly the trade was not commenced, what I mean by this is that I did not obtain any keys.

I'd also like to personally apologize to you, as I understand I was being a dick, and it was a very dickish thing to do. I hope you can forgive me.


I understand I shouldn't have, but really I only saw it as late night fun. I stated I was your cousin because honestly I was a bit embarrassed and didn't want to explain the whole incident to some random trade, so I lied but I didn't trade him.


I'm asking of you to give me another chance, please.

You were about to hit accept, the only thing that stopped you was the fact that the trade was canceled.

You were embarrassed and didn't want to explain the fact you were joking, so you decided that you might as well scam. And you did trade, the trade did take place, just it was canceled before completion.

Also, I have no personal qualms with you, but I do not tolerate attempts to scam users out of their items.

I' m sorry I worded that incorrectly. When I say we didn't trade, I mean items were not exchanged. Though it was days ago, I'm pretty positive I'm the one who canceled the trade.

I'd like to be given another chance, if I may. I'd be extremely grateful.

Seeing how it's been over a year, my main question is how long will the tag be marked? I mean really.

bumping doesn't do anything, just be patient as there is a huge backlog.

That's an incredibly large backlog if 652 days is a common wait time. Personally, I think it would be wise to invest in more team members to filter through cases or some other solution. Just my two cents.
