Next,
Got a trade request for $380 PayPal for an Unusual Texas Ten Gallon with Cloudy Moon effect. Was linked to a reputable trader's SteamRep thread and profile to show that the trader was legitimate. Was being linked to a reputable trader's profile and SteamRep page but NOT the impersonator's own profile. Trade commenced and impersonator went offline immediately after receiving the hat

Thanks for helping me with this, GaTr. This is all accurate information regarding the scamming that I was subjected to.

In addition to this, I've just filed a scam report to Valve. Hopefully all of this helps keep people from getting scammed in the future.
