I had some posts listed on tf2outpost about buying 2011 festive weapons. I got a random request from this guy selling some, we made a deal, then he asked me if I had keys to sell. He offered $20 for 8 and I said sure, I could do that then claimed he sent the money. He used the /me function and posted this, which is copied and pasted (I accidently closed out part of the conversation, but have most of it):

E L V I A N has just sent you $20.00 USD using Steam Wallet Transfer™. Your balance will be subdued to the amount sent after completing the trade for the requested items. Please complete the trade and follow the instructions on your screen.

I told him I had received that message, but that was all. He kept pressing me to make the trade and kept threatening to report me if I was scamming him. I saw no other means of the transaction, so I would not trade, and when I started suspecting him of scamming he started to back down, said he got his money back and left. He also had his profile set to private during the trade, after the trade and attempted scam his profile is now public.

I had accidently x'ed some of the convo, but had already copied what he used with the /me command. If that is not sufficient, I apologize, I took the screenshots to best represent what he was trying to pull which was pressing me to trade without any signs of a money transfer.

May I see that?

We need the screenshots of that hon, you uploaded all but the most important info-

I thought that may have been an issue when I closed the window by accident, but you can still see where he had expected me to trade keys over with me not seeing a payment, I even asked him if that is what he expected me to do and he said yes. Still, sorry I failed to get a screenshot of that, if I see another attempt similar to that I will take that screenshot first thing
