What happened was that he added me out of the blue wanting to buy buds for paypal. He wanted to go first and explains a fake story about his trade phrobation. He links me to the others rep and judging by his profile, he had nothing meaning an empty inventory. Please note that we didnt trade, this was an attempt to scam.

Too me that makes no sense, why would a guy make an Alt of himself with exact name + etc?
But, scammers are stupid so maybe it makes sense.

I reported that guy and he has 3 alts all named his own name. Which, you know, makes things easier for those trying to catch him

It's no alt of mine but an impersonator. They're becoming a plague as they try to use my good rep to scam people. And today I've landed myself a negative rep from someone who had some dealings with one of the impersonator because he didn't bother to check if he was dealing with the same person the rep thread belonged to.

Seem's he's been up to more scamming as well. Another one of his alts, unmarked, scammed my friend for his entire backpack through paypal :/
Once again using Zomby's name and rep thread, only this time, he actually changed his name and made his profile private, while possibly transferring the items to another alt.
