Moneypak (greendot) Anything I've overlooked?

    I am planning on accepting Moneypak for the first time, for hats. I've read as much as I can about it, am aware that some stores don't make everyone pay cash but cannot find any of them allowing credit cards.

    Without going into too much detail, if I except Moneypak, put the code + my info into paypal, receiving the payment. Trade my valuable item to this person. Is it possible for me to lose the money in paypal , or be in debt to paypal if I withdraw the funds? Is this about as safe / secure as BTC? I've read many guides but they're all years old, plus news articles saying Moneypak will be phased out next year (2015).

    Want to make sure I haven't overlooked anything

    Sorry, I'm confused by your wording. Are you using moneypak to trade hats, or accepting moneypak as payment from cash trades?
