What happened? Description:

**I am posting on behalf of my friend who nearly got scammed. **

I was supposed to help my friend out over teamviewer for a trade and tell him if something is off, so he would have a safe trade. Eventually after my friend trading the items to me to proof that it is possible to trade those items, he tried sending a trade request with a different account, except for same name and avatar like my friend has. Then he just acts clueless and doesn't know what is happening. Technically I almost got scammed, because the items were in my inventory at some point where he tried to trick me.​

This same guy tried the same trick on me just a few minutes ago.

He did the same to me and my friend. Luckily me and my friend were on teamspeak during the whole thing and shared every step we took in the process. He tried to impersonate me and get back the items from him. Then he tried to impersonate my friend and sent me a trade offer stating that he will give them back in a moment. What a loser.

Damn, I should have looked his profile up. Just fell for the scam and lost my knife unfortunately, which sucks. It's just money but a super dick move. Unfortunately I was working with a friend who never steam trades and is a complete beginner and I didn't warn her about the scam. He's still using his main account as the initial scammer and even admitted it. Dunno if steam will do anything about it but might as well submit a report.

Everyone who is in this thread and had the accused either: attempt to scam them or scam them, please file a separate report w/ evidence. It helps inform other traders of this user's fraud and keeps track of the scams for SR if they seek to appeal.

I think we can all agree this report can be approved.

Can we get a ban on this person already? There's plenty of proof and reports of him to get it done.
And also, he tried to scam me on my newly unboxed knife.

What is your proof that this is also his account?

He is friends with his main account as well as identical description and info box he has put up on his profile, he's also lacking a lot of CSGO hours for "a big trader".
