What happened? Description:

The user sent me a screenshot of his howl that he wanted to sell, i made an offer for 300 keys and went about to collect them. Later on, he sent me a trade offer for them, counted them while i was on steam's site on my mobile, and accepted the trade. When I came home, i checked the howl and it was a different one. He later on sends me a message telling me he has a "new" howl and he still has my 300 keys as his newest items in the inventory. When I confront him about switching items, he tells me that its his "friends" and he was letting him borrow it.​

In the mean time, i contacted the user again to try to work things out to have him return me the correct item.

Can you provide full steam chat with the accused?
You'll also need your inventory history in full window uncropped (you can wipe out your steam login though).
And if there was any note on that offer, it might help.

Also, I'm not familiar with cs:go, any way you can prove you received different weapon?

This has been resolved, it was a misunderstanding on both of our parts.

I'm afraid you can't revoke your report if there was a scam that lead to the creation of the report in the first place.
(Was there a scam here or not, it's up to SR staff to decide).

But you can provide any screenshots proving he repaid you to make it easier for him.
Or just tell him to provide those screenies, he's more interested in it now.

I need proof of the resolution. Was it an attempted scam or was it truly a misunderstanding?

Please close this case. This is a clear misunderstanding.

Both of them are my steam friends and this was rly misunderstanding. As we speak, Sku11e has been marked as scammer when he wants to trade and ppl are scared now when he post some items for trade. We would rly like to close this and remove mark from account. Thx in advance.

Well I can not make the call to close this report. Once it is submitted to SR it has to be seen by an admin first.
So it will probably take 3-4 months before it gets looked at to be closed.
