What happened? Description:

My first trade ever via PayPal ends with an Invoice by a f***ing scammer with exceptionally high reputation. He went straight to "private account" after the trade.​

Why do your screenshots in paypal have 2 different dates

Do I really need to explain time zones now ?

Or that a scammer probably won't care if his invoice is one day ahead ?

Well your second screenshot shows the timeframe of your history to be April 17-24, but it says the bill was sent April 25

I feel like talking to a toddler...

You chose 17-24, but you have an element dated 25

Did you even take a look at my last screenshot ? Because it clearly says

"You can select any invoice date, but when you click Send,
the invoice WILL BE SENT RIGHT AWAY, even if you've selected a FUTURE date."

To be more specific: Transaction of his invoice and the awp were made on the 24th. He dated the invoice for the 25th ( probably because PayPal automatically dates invoices one day ahead when they are made at a specific time like late afternoon or at night. )

I don't even know why you bother so much with such a tiny thing like a date.

It even may be a paypal error. I don't know. I don't care.

Fact is: He scammed me over 65€ / AWP Asiimov and I sent in a report with 90% of the required data ( chat log is not available ).

Hi Hunson, I have looked over the case and I can see you got a point about this person being a scammer but please be a little more patience with people that are volunteering there free time to help people that have been scammed - each investigator has be 100% sure the report is accurate and that all the information is correct other wise the decession to ban a person may not be justified, Also the chat logs are HUGE part of how people are meant to investigate scammers as we do not know the full trade conversation, I'm sure the SR Admins will make a ruling on this but please be patience

I just want to ask, do this admins can back u an item or not ? If they cant i dont want to waste my time on forum, and weiting for an answer...

No SR Can NOT give you back your items its a community run service to warn other traders of people that have committed trade scams!

I don't even care if I can get my AWP back it's not like I can even play with it but it's lost money and that bothers me pretty bad. The only thing that is of interest for me now is that he will be banned forever or at least a period of time for his behaviour.

This screenshot shows that he set the invoice date as the 24th (http://forums.steamrep.com/attachments/2-png.73068/), but your other screenshot shows it as sent on the 25th with a timeframe of 17-24

Your comment made more sense than anything gencobra posted so far. I know that volunteering means some pressure cause I am doing a few projects myself voluntarily but how often do I have to prove that...

In the end, none of this matters since you do not have a trade agreement screenshot so you cannot prove that he agreed to pay you 65.00 for your AWP.
However, this report will be taken into consideration if he is reported again in the future.
