    Scam Report

Report Type: [Accomplice] Trading with marked scammers or hijackers
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198074382745

    Victim profile: 76561198072165163

    What happened? Description:
This person has traded with a hijacker that has hijacked my valuables from my Team-Fortress 2 Backpack.

    Provide Evidence:
    So..
Y152 #UseTradeOffer Has bought an unusual from the person who hijacked my account and Team-Fortress 2 backpack.

http://prntscr.com/6jlgo9 This shows that i have owned the item (TF2OP)
http://prntscr.com/6jlhn0 This shows that my items actually have been traded away, Including the unusual this owner has
http://prntscr.com/6jliqt This is the Steam profile of the Hijacker
http://prntscr.com/6jlj7t The 'accused' has traded with multiple Hijackers/scammers?
http://prntscr.com/6jllwt The backpack.tf history of the unusual the 'accused' has bought from the hijacker who stole the item from my account.
http://prntscr.com/6jlmj7 The backpack.tf profile of the Hijacker
http://prntscr.com/6jln3z The 'accused''s TF2Outpost trade, It doesn't show the hijacker in the history because the item has to my thoughts been quicksold to the 'accused'

    Extra:
Saved the pictures and uploaded them to make it easier.

    Extra:
A screenshot a friend of mine, Edvis_Knife gave me for more evidence that the Hijacker really was a hijacker (Screenshot "Report9" shows what the hijacker did once succeeding hijacking my account)

It's a non-bot phishing method i was not familiar with.
I have submit a report for this person already.

I think this should be enough info.
    Thanks for taking the time!

    Extra:
The accused, or Y152 #UseTradeOffer has quite a few banned friends.
Could this mean he/she has traded with multiple hijackers/scammers?

And for the banned friends things. People add me so I accept anyone except for level 0 profiles and most of the time their not online when I'm online so I totally forget about them unless they message me.

Then i'm curious why none of the histories of the item show a person named like that.

Probably the person that brought it from that guy in your screenshot had his profile private when he traded for it.

I was unaware of his steamrep status based on his profile he was level 31 and was a high tier trader so I thought he was trustworthy. I think one mistake like this doesn't deserve a permanent mark on my reputation and I already taken punishment by getting banned from outpost for 2 weeks. If I had done this multiple times then I would take the mark without an argument, but this is my first offense.

In addition, isn't steamrep suppose to mark people who actually scammed someone or attempted to? both which I hadn't done.

Every trader should be aware whether the person you're trading with is clean or not. And if the items were obtained on a fair way or not.
Traders that are marked will have a red coloured name on backpack.tf and will be banned on tf2outpost.com so it was pretty obvious that you were trading with a scammer.

Yes, they should but traders also make mistakes. This is my first offense since I started TF2 why should I get marked for unknowingly trading with a market scammer and when I already got punished from outpost for 2 weeks.

Also, let me repeat a question you seem to have completely ignored.

Isn't steamrep suppose to mark people who actually scammed someone or attempted to? both which I hadn't done.

    I never said he wasn't a scammer, but I wasn't aware.

Steamrep doesn't only go about scammers, Also about hackers, Hijackers/phishers, People who trade with scammers etc.
You should always, What kind of position you're in, check if the person you're trading with has obtained the item on a fair way. And if he or she is not market on Steamrep.com.

    Well ok this is mine.

Steamrep FAQ states the following :
    • First offense:
      • Item/Game trades: You will receive a one-time warning for any high-value item or game trade with a BANNED account or an obvious scammer alternate account. (This warning will be a temporary CAUTION tag that will be removed when you contact SteamRep admins.)
      • Cash trades: You will receive a CAUTION reputation tag for cash exchanges for high-value items with a banned scammer or obvious alternate scammer acount. Helping scammers profit is not something we can encourage.
