What happened? Description:

<KezzyL> added me for my USP-S Orion MW Stattrak (88USD for the skin, paypal)
<KezzyL> Tried to scam me with his "middleman" friend.
Made some mistakes which looked obvious to me

"Middleman" tried to DDOS me at the end I guess? I didn't let him take my IP(steamcall) :3

Both deleted me instantly after I said it's a scam.

Hi there Michael,

Perhaps you could help me, as I can relate to you. The day after you posted this, (Saturday 26th) I was scammed by the EXACT same two profiles, Kezzyl, sending me almost the exact same messages as he sent to you- the usual "are you interested and sorry to bother you." Only my problem had a much worse outcome than yours- you didn't fall for Kezzyl and the "middleman" that was obviously just another account he uses solely to deprive other CS:GO players of their high value items. I lost the most rare m4a1-s skin currently in the game- the cyrex. Unfortunately I don't have tonnes of screenshots like you of the whole conversation, but I do have evidence that I spoke with KezzyL, and I'm sure that Steam will be able to see that I sent my Cyrex to this "middleman." I was hoping for $68/40GBP to come into my PayPal account immediately after, but instead the "middleman," (KezzyL's other account which he was typing through at the same time on another computer) went offline, and KezzyL acted very confused saying: "where's my gun?" and then "screw this, I'm off to bed." He has not been back on-line since Saturday, when he deleted me as a friend. So, I lost both my Cyrex, and my 40 GBP. He also used the same excuse with me, that the steam market was not working properly, but, at the time, this just made the whole thing seem even more legit to me as the steam market was actually temporarily down at this time.

As it happens I had no record of the link to the "middleman" account, as the one that I had in a screenschot (http://steamcommunity.com/id/officialkmjt)/) has since been changed. When I realised this, I googled many differenrt variations of this name, and tried just "kmjt" on it's own, and that is how I managed to find your thread

This situation has caused me so much upset, but I'm delighted to have found someone that managed to out-smart him. I really really hope I can get either my Cyrex or 40 GBP back, as he left me with neither.
