What happened? Description:

My friend (http://steamcommunity.com/id/Aadamz/) wanted to trade his knife for IRL money. This guy (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198155106963) (and his friend later on (http://steamcommunity.com/id/rrnigaw/), an account copier) wanted to give money to his PayPal for money, he even said that he will go first. This looked too good to be true. So my friend gave his knife to me, because this was the only thing the guy wanted and after he was done 'checking' he said that I can give it back now. So a trade pop-up comes up and I click on it and see my friend. I gave him the knife and says that I have not traded with him. I quickly checked my and his inventory and we couldn't find the knife, first we tought it was a glitch then I realised that the guy's friend just quickly changed his name and his profile, identical to my friend's. So yeah, they definitely worked together and my friend will probably never see his Bayonet anymore because Steam won't give back items that were scammed by fake friends.


Is there is any way of getting back the bayonet? Me and my friend are really furious now, and this is outraging that things like this can happen. This guy is just asking for a trading ban. He won't respond since the incident.​

UPDATE: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198109451913/friends/ <- THIS GUY. This f***ing guy. He has both the name changer and the guy who wanted to buy the knife on his friendlist. His main account is now the other one, what he wanted to buy the knife with. His older name was Chainsmoker on all accounts.
