What happened? Description:

User asked if "can we use your real friend or trusted friend to hold your unusual until i buy all the buds?"

which was almost used against a friend of mine to scam them out of a hat. See Evidence for more detail.​

Note that the unusual in question was never actually discussed. This guy didn't care.

I'd heard about this scam from 2 friends who live together. What will happen, is the guy will ask you to trade it to a friend (which you'd do) and then, he'll add the friend, and impersonate you on the trade back.

It gets better.

Apparently, this guy forgot we had our discussion last night, and added me... again today!

Just grabbed the screenshots and enabled my timestamps for future attempts.​
