    Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
    Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198166533223

    Victim profile: 76561198295439934

    What happened? Description:
    He tried to middle man scam me my Vanilla Karambit . He impersonated my friend and tried to get me to trade the knife to him, my friend as a fake account. I spotted the difference due to some mayor differences and my friend being on teamspeak with me and we were having a conversation like this.​

    Provide Evidence:
    On the different accounts image you can see the Dubstep that is my friend, the one on the right, and the fake dubstep that he linked me to on the left. In the image Screen Shot you can see where he is asking me about the person that I trust etc.​

    The fake profile was the one with the aasaasdasd community id. The ID has now since been changed. I understand you can't report the fake account then.

    Also when I tried to add that account as a friend, to get more information, he had blocked me on his main and the account he tried to use to scam me. This message is from the alternate account.

    RIGHT...this is the CORRECT user - I have no idea who that other person is you posted - who is that? Where did you get that other ID??

    I was on his profile and looking at all the dodgy accounts and that one popped up. Sorry for the mistake, I realized it after the 2 min delay message.

    Unfortunately you were not able to get a proper screenshot of the impersonating account's ID64, instead presenting only the Profile URL and a Steam name (both of which can be changed and lost beyond the limited name history records on the Steam Community). I will have to archive your report.
