    Report Type: [Money] PayPal scam or scam attempt
    Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198233736976

    Victim profile: 76561198024809847

    What happened? Description:
    We agreed for him to buy my StatTrak Gut knife Doppler FN. The agreed price was 125 Euros. I checked his Steam Rep and trade history and everything seemed legit. I then proceeded to send the knife and awaited payment via PayPal. After about an hour of conversation and excuses it was late and I needed to go to bed. I have come downstairs this morning to find he has removed and blocked me on Steam.​

    Provide Evidence:
    Picture 1 - Shows the agreed trade.
    Picture 2 - Shows my trade history including the knife to this man.
    Picture 3 - Shows the knife in his inventory.
    Picture 4 - Shows my Paypal Balance as of 08:30am BST 27/02/16.
    Picture 5 - Shows he has unfriended and blocked me after the trade.​

    Do you have anything else in the chat discussion there you had with this user to add? It doesn't explain what the item was you were trading in that little chat box?

    Well we can't recover your items anyway - only Valve can do that.
    But I needed something to note that this was the item in which you were getting funds from this user. The only way I can see here is from your trade history there linked up to the time/dates of everything else so I'm ok with that if you can retake that trade history screen shot but this time do it in a web browser - move your mouse pointer over the users name so it shows up the little hypertext popup box at the bottom and screen shot that - full screen upload here.

    I don't know if you check this, but the accused profile is now Private and Steam Trade Banned. I understand I will not get my knife back, but I will take some satisfaction in knowing his profile is effectively ruined. Scammers cause nothing but harm to the trading community, and the more that are exposed the better. Whatever you guys decide to do in this case, keep up the good work and keep fighting the good fight.

    11/10 would get scammed again.
