    Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
    Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198244044634

    Victim profile: 76561198000976543

    What happened? Description:
    pretending to be middle man and saying they had to check items. Seems like a verified user. but no. asked me send other items then thats when i got suspicious and started asking for my knife back​

    Provide Evidence:
    sorry not much to go on. but he said i had to trade to him so he could check the items. but that is my knife and he scammed out of it.​

    Yeah i did but i didn't manage to get any screenshots...the guy who was pretending to be middleman was claiming to be a valve employee, not that i believed that, but his profile had a few link to these 'trusted' websites, like this one...using your website to scam people pretty much. there was another use who initiated the trade called james bond something, however i only managed to get the middleman info.

    Ok I'm archiving the report since you don't have the screens of the chat - however I've noted the middleman internally. Thanks!
    Do also note the middleman is already tagged as of today from a partner community.
    You can also report the user to Valve
    In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT
