Private chat basically explaining the background story:http://imgur.com/Pv8zv,aIHoF,FfXjv
Private chat showing him refusing to give me a refund:http://imgur.com/Pv8zv,aIHoF,FfXjv#1

The story: This is my first post on Steamrep, so I hope this is okay to mark the person as a scammer.

I got a Dota 2 invite key, and then he added me, and asked to buy the Dota 2 invite key I got.

He wanted to trade Magicka for the Dota 2 key that I had.

He said he was going to give my Dota 2 key to a friend, and he convinced me that my Dota 2 key would only activate on one account.

I was suspicious, as I saw that he had 2 Dota 2 invites already. But he said one of the invites were for him, another for his cousin, and wanted mine for a friend.

And so I traded with him, hoping to give the Magicka, instead of the Dota 2 key, to my friend.

Later that day, I noticed he sold his Dota 2 invites, then on the third day he had 2 more Dota 2 invites in his inventory, and the cycle kept repeating and repeating, with him gaining more games by the day.

I found out 4 days after our trade that the Dota 2 invite keys actually gave the activator an extra 2 Dota 2 invites ( I could have invited 3 friends to Dota)!.

And so I asked him for a refund/ tradeback, as I noticed that he had 2 Dota 2 invites in his account (again). He did not want the Magicka back, and he even said I was on the cheap end of the deal.

I tired -repping him, but he deleted my posts.

And so here I am, at the butt end of a bad deal, with a bad trader who won't give back refunds.

TL:DR Got a Dota 2 invite key for a friend, out comes a trader shark, traded him Dota 2, thinking it was only one. Found out later that the Dota 2 invite key gave the activator an extra 2 Dota 2 invites. Asked trader-shark for a refund/tradeback. Was denied refund, and deleted my -rep.

I don't see any scam attempt. From everything I can see the trade agreement was met.
