What happened? Description:

Story:
I created a new cash rep thread in the CSGO REP! Steam group and he immediately contacted me to talk about cash trades. Said he accepted BTC/Steam wallet codes. He then proceeded to send me his "main" account, who's bio SPECIFICALLY SAID "I only have 1 account". Following this, I asked him to add me using his "main" to prove his ownership of the account, which he then started dodging my questions and started asking me "if I've ever been scammed before and is that why I'm so careful".

He is still lurking on the CSGO REP! Forums and is waiting for new traders to make cash reps so he can scam them! Ban him ASAP!​

Is it possible to show the link in web chat without the image embedded? I have since unfriended him so the chat cannot be found on the Steam client. The best I can do is hover over the embedded image to reveal a link. As with proof of identity here is him commenting on my cash rep trying to add me:

In what way did I edit it? I covered my name that’s on the top right corner and that’s it.

Do I really have to give out my real name just to report a scammer? That feature is built into MacOs and I don’t think it can be removed. There is already so much evidence that this guy is impersonating someone with intents to scam.

the link is in the web chat, and there is no other way to expand it any more. There is already evidence beyond a reasonable doubt that this guy is a scammer, and I have provided a lot of proof. Furthermore, if you check his profile on steam rep, he has been reported once more in the past and if you read that report the scammer tried to pull THE EXACT SAME SCAM on another person as he did on me. Every second that he isn't banned from the steam rep group and from this website makes more potential traders vulnerable to being scammed. I have attached another image below on other links he sent me, but that's about as much evidence as I can provide.

do you also have the ability to ban him from the csgo rep forums? He's most likely still lurking there waiting on new traders.

Can you explain more? did you mean something like this picture of the example you sent? I can't get the url to show up at the bottom left for some reason. This is what I was able to get.
