What happened? Description:

The scammer contacts me via a comment on a steam review I left on Team Fortress 2. Prior to this, I have no relations or contact to the scammer. I add the scammer to ask about the offer for my whole tf2 backpack. I make a counter offer, and the scammer at first refuses. A new offer is made, and the scammer accepts the new offer. I offer the items into the trade and accept the trade. The scammer asks for another item for a separate game (Counter Strike : Global Offensive) but I decline the offer. The items finally processes and is sent to the scammer's inventory. The scammer replies that the money is being sent via third party method (CashApp). After some time, I reply to the scammer saying that there has not been a sent payment at all. The scammer blocks communication with me.​

look if you don't respond within the next hour, i'm sending a ticket to steam support to have your account marked, i know you're still active since you're currently trading off into more liquidable items like keys and stuff.

The steam review comment "offer" is no longer there, possibly due to him blocking communications with me / deleting the comment themselves.

Can't fit the whole trade or else the text will be too small. Hyperlink popup is visible. Also the scammer has changed their name, but I assure you is the same person.


Most recent activity is December 1st of 2022. Next most recent is May 11th, 2022. There is no payment from Adam0oze or any payment for $1,250.

I did not send this to the scammer, but the scammer does know my Cashapp tag (found in the chatlogs).


I provided the necessary screenshots unedited, but after your review of this case, could I ask you to omit/remove the payment history screenshot, so as I do not have to continue sharing the other's personal info?
