Description : I found this guy spammin in the trade page in dota 2, saying he has pudge dragonclaw hook for trade and wants keys for it. I approached him and he agreed to trade with me for 10 keys and one rare item(bloodstained britches). he added the hook and when i added my keys and the rare item and ready it, he removed his hook,i dint notice and clicked on ready to trade, he then clicked on ready to trade, and stole my items. he changed his name and removed me from his list and blocked me. I hope he gets marked for this horrible thing that he did. I lost all my keys. i would like to ask a question, Will i get my keys back?? i got them by spending my money and bought it from a friend of mine..
Without screenshots of the agreement, it will be more difficult to judge this case. Im sorry to hear that you got quick switched. You could send a ticket to Valve, but youll get their generic response "it is your responsibility to check everything before you click trade etc." Unless he has a massive change of heart, im afraid your items are lost. Take this as a learning experience and review how to ensure that you trade safely.
"Without screenshots of the agreement, it will be more difficult to judge this case." < you know this how? Title: 76561198075851616(Illogical) ^ Your topic needs that title
I could give someone an item and say they promised China to me... How do I prove what we agreed upon and that I didn't receive it?
Topics/threads cannot be edited after 2 minutes of their post, unless they're posted in the "SR Guides" section. I'd say you cannot. However, you may listen to both sides and make your decision about who's right, if someone.
