Description
So, one of my friends messaged me after finding out I got a few items he liked.
He said "I'll trade u a vintage fan'o'war for ur taunt and 2 festives"
I checked the price on a fan'o'war, and it was about 2 buds. I traded with him.
I asked him, as shown on this screenshot, if it was really a vintage fan'o'war and he didn't name it.

He said it was, and "i swear, i promise, i changed.."
I trusted him, because I hovered my mouse over the gift and it read "vintage fan-o-war."
I proceeded and clicked ready to trade.

After trading, I unboxed the item, just to get a named fan'o'war.

You say he scammed you before and was offering a 2.5 bud item for low value items? Please be more careful and do not deal with shady players. You can tell if an item is renamed by the quotation marks ( " ") around the item and a vintage Fan would have the blue text without quotations. If you are unsure about anything please ask someone before you trade.

You had the intention of scamming him at first, for you knew that a Vintage Fan-o-War was worth much more than what you were giving him. You didn't tell him that the real price for the Vintage Fan-o-War was much higher than what he asked. That is called scamming. There is something called karma.

It's called sharking actually, and the general rule of thumb, if it's too good to be true, probably it isn't.
A scam is a scam neverthless and this was a scam.

Also TheSpeedCrafter, when someone OFFERS you, it isn't considered scamming. Plus, he gave me a duped Fan'o'War, yet you still reside on Shauers side, yet you show no faith that I've gotten a normal and named fan'o'war. I've seen you trade a highfive taunt for 5 keys and you didn't tell them the real price, did you? So you scammed too? It doesn't work that way when the other trader offers to you.

Wow you're one trusting trader..too trusting and will most likely be scammed again in the future.

To be honest, I've been trading with this person many times, and I warned him that I took screenshots of the trade.
It was apparent he didn't listen.

Actually, I sold my Dirty High-Five taunt for a Strange Holiday Punch which is 2.5-3 keys. The other player knew that he was offering me above the price, and he was just being kind. There is a difference. You had the intention of sharking. In my situation, the other player was kindly offering more than needed. But anyways, Emporor Shauer Went to Novmandy should be punished.
