What happened? Description:

Offered to buy an Unusual Cold Killer (scorching plasma) and 63 keys though paypal.
He went first and all looked well as the money came through (in two separate transactions for the 2 separate purchases)
I suspected something was fishy as he made no attempts to talk the price down and was very eager to buy these items at once even though he has a very small amount of tf2 gametime.
His reason for this was that he was a mainly dota 2 and cs:go trader so I went along with it.
Money went though fine, I sent the items and within five mintues I get a chargeback notification from paypal, claiming that the user was unaware of the purchase being made.
After questioning him in chat he starts coming up with fake excuses saying he didnt chargeback and that paypal canceled the payment because he needs to send his passport and that if i just wait the payment will come though. Also all my items were quickly traded to another account likely connected to the scam account. I do not know which account it has gone to but I believe the unusual was one of one on backpack.tf so it shouldn't be to hard to track if someone has premium.​

Proof of the main payment (can grab a screenshot of the 2nd payment if necessary)


Proof of items being sent to the buyer

Heres proof of the chargeback which happened about 5 mins after he got the items.


Here is the the users profile, it is a 4 year old account which appears to be trustworthy. and has over 2k hours in dota 2.​

The two additional attached images are just confirming that the user added me (hours before the scam) and showing the reason he used for the chargeback

and you are talking about a completely different user that scammed you.
So make a new thread for that instead of hi-jacking mine

this happened to me as well, accept for 925 USD, he defiantly needs to be marked and be gone

Hi poe sorry to hear it, would you mind posting some screenshots so we have additional evidence against this guy.
