What happened? Description:

He tried to buy my unusual sole mate on an unusual trade server with steam wallet funds. He sent some wierd code that said something along the lines of "steam funds transfer.monsterpanda123-$100.00.Sir_Spankles +$100.00.Funds WIll Transfer When trade is Accepted" and said I should trust him. I didn't, obviously, even though he had +4 trust on backpack.tf. We chatted back and forth for a while (it was mostly him angrily yelling at me telling me to accept the trade offer) until he brought in some guy named »» Cookie «« | "Endgame" and asked him if his steam wallet fund trading was legit. When Cookie started to explain how Panda was scamming, Panda kicked him from the chat. I then started talking to cookie and he tried to explain how panda has tried this before. I apparently didn't get it, meanwhileon a separate trade window panda was getting a guy named rotonku to be his middleman; he claimed that rotonku should give me a $100 steam wallet code if I did the trade. I should have stopped right there, but I didn't because I am an idiot. I went through with the trade, and both rotonku and panda un-added me and went offline. Looking through his history now, it's obvious he was a scammer and I should never have trusted him. I lost the most expensive item in my inventory (it was ~ a 28 key unusual) and the pictures of the chat window.​

I'm not a staff member, but I don't think you can pass a report without the chat agreement, as it is considered vital evidence.

Although I completely believe you in scamming you, as he has already been marked and he has your unusual in his backpack, however in the future of making reports, it would be more believable if you don't close chat windows and screenshot them. Also maybe add the trade offer screenshot. Showing trade history of him getting the unusual and showing your unusual in your backpack isn' a very believable source for proof

Okay, He got hijacked a week ago. This is a huge misunderstanding. Thus his ban happened. IT WASN'T HIM FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. He lost So much of his backpack. I feel bad for him that his account is ruined.

Also I would like to point out, NONE of his names has Rotonku in it. He must have traded with the scammer.

Not an SteamRep staff member but I would like to ask you to add your incoming trade offer history. The proof of him sending the trade offer with the "money" is missing in this report.

Please upload your evidence as uncropped screenshots, showing your entire screen, without any edits, i.e. highlights/boxes/indicator marks. Please also include your trade offer history.

FYI - The accused in this report was recently banned as a result of another report.
