What happened? Description:

User added me requesting a trading $2,300 cash (paypal) for my entire TF2 backpack.
We held in-depth discussions on the matter and came to an agreement.

The trade offer was sent to me, and I communicated my paypal details to him.
I confirmed the requestor of the Trade Offer was indeed him multiple times.

Trade offer was accepted and he confirmed the Paypal details for his half of the trade.
User then blocked me on Steam.

No payment was received on Paypal.​

Are you 100% positive? That is what the BoA representative I've spoken to yesterday said I would need in order to send a wire transfer. I mostly deal with PayPal, Venmo, and Cashapp so I'm not as knowledgeable with wire transfers.

Got it, I can resend the offer with a note if needed. Also, I would need to receive the offer on my end before I proceed with the wire transfer. Not sure if you went over my profile beforehand, level 161, 15 year Steam member, 5K+ trades made, etc. And also, not sure if you are aware but wire transfers aren't instant.
They usually take a few days as far as I am aware.

I wouldn't be comfortable under those conditions, given the context that its my entire BP. The fact they take a few days is why I'd rather wait until PNC confirms no issues on their end before finalizing

I mean I've really got no reason to risk my 15 year old account getting banned over a trade along with my backpack, level, and the rest. Have done over 5,000 trades and never screwed anybody over. Certainly don't plan on starting now. I would've considered going first if you were here for longer than I with a somewhat of a higher level and a decent amount of trades made, but I would need to receive the items first like I said above.
If that's a deal breaker for ya I completely understand, no hard feelings.

Still thinking on the matter--but may just do Paypal, since you do have plenty of years of experience...just need to think it over. I'm naturally the type to question everything, so relying on trust is a foreign thing for me to come to terms with..

Sure thing, that's not a problem. I would also be willing to provide a screenshot of my Paypal which would show my balance & cards I'm verified with as well if necessary.
Wire transfers aren't as convenient as Paypal is sadly due to the amount of time you gotta wait for the money. Paypal or really any other payment method is much more suitable for cash-trading as they're all instantaneous. Really only way I would ask someone to do a wire transfer would be if we were dealing at least $50K.
