    Accused profile: 76561198155455934

    Victim profile: 76561198040104515

    What happened? Description:
    The user is impersonating a valid trader on dotagiftx; this guy: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198170639382

    His profile points to the real trader's inventory which he pretends is his own.

    He scammed me out of $5 for the Fowl Omen Necrophos set; once he "attempted" to send me the item, he prompted me to sign into a phishing website, "dotagiftplus.com"

    I unfortunately do not have screenshots of our chat because he blocked me; but he keeps changing his steam profile custom URL, I will update this post as he changes it.​

    Provide Evidence:
    I am not able to provide evidence as the user blocked me on steam and therefore I can no longer access our chat history.

    All of the comments on his profile giving him +rep were made on the same day (several pages, all within an hour).​

    Sorry you provided no acceptable evidence of any scam here, no chat/agreement noted thru steam chat screenshots as required.
    You clearly knew you didn't have the required and made the report anyway and that is highly unacceptable!!

    Re-reporting this user as I was able to gather more evidence using the official mobile Steam app and Steam Chat app.

    This user is impersonating this legitimate account: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198170639382

    The scammer's profile links all point to the above legit account.

    He offered to gift me the Fowl Omen Necrophos set in exchange for $5 USD and once he accepted the Paypal, he attempted to phish my account by linking me to a phishing website.

    Our chat history in the evidence below shows this happening. Because he blocked me and keeps changing his customURL, I am unable to add him as a friend to access the chat logs via my laptop. However, the chat logs are saved in the official Steam and Steam Chat mobile apps, which I recorded on my phone to prove I am opening the legit apps. There are photos and videos of our chat history, as well as me navigating to his profile (where I am blocked) and accessing his steam profiles URL.

    Please let me know if any additional evidence is required.​

    The 3.4mb gif has already been compressed a bunch and I can't get it any lower, though it's similar to the gif that was successfully uploaded

    Decision stands from yesterday - DECLINED.
    You do not have proper evidence - the chat logs show a username that this user NEVER used in the history that we can see therefore we can not verify that you are even reporting the correct user. If you used a nickname for them that is all we see...no way to verify and that is a common mistake users make - don't do that in the future if that was the case.
    There is nothing that verifies that identity - the chat logs are incomplete...not enough of any formal agreement.
    Do not resubmit this report - it is Declined and that decision stands.
    merging with previous to avoid report spam.
