What happened? Description:

He added my friend then quickly asked to buy his knife in return for Steam Wallet money - he then went on to send a trade offer with illegitimate information saying that in "exchange" for the trade he would receive Steam Wallet money. Evidence is provided. Luckily for my friend, he was clever enough to realize it was a scam, however others may not be so clever.​

Unfortunately he deleted my friend before we could get a image of the chat.​

Evidence looks sufficient to me, even without the chat agreement. The trade offer should suffice. Hopefully a staff member will review your report soon.

You can report the user to Valve instead
In order to do that, you have to:
1. Visit the accused profile
2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
5. Click SUBMIT REPORT

With that in mind, there isn't enough evidence to prove the accused is guilty of wrongdoing.
